LORELAI: And how is it they just came off the tennis court and they’re not even sweating?

RORY: I don’t know. Maybe when you’re that white, you don’t sweat.

Um … what ethnicity are Lorelai and Rory meant to be? I can’t see how the Springsteens would be any whiter than the Gilmores. And regardless, Lorelai and Rory seem pretty appalling guests in this scene.
